 Your responsibilities

• Repair, upgrade and build computers within TCA guidelines in your postcode areas

• Maintain technical support only for your own customers

• Maintain TCA Franchisee Code of Conduct

 Requirements

• You must have:

  • Expertise in assessing computer problems and how to fix them.

  • Own transport (car or van)

  • Out-going pleasant demeanour

  • Respect the TCA code of conduct (too many genuine complaints will results in termination of your franchise contract)

• You should ideally have

  • 3+ years experience building and maintaining computers (DIY or professionally)

  • Web design experience

  • Customer relations experience

  • Networking experience (basic home networking or Windows 2003)

  • Patience whilst your business builds (success probably won’t happen overnight, but with TCA backing we can help you get started on the right road)

  • Energy and finance to support your own local advertising and sales

 Costs

• Introductory offer:

  • £350 pa per 3/4 digit postcode area (e.g. WA3, SW1, CV20)

  • £150 pa per extra 3/4 digit postcode area

  • Franchisees signing up before November 2006 will have their annual payments frozen at the discount level for two years.

• Normal Prices from November 2006

  • £850 pa per 3/4 digit postcode area (e.g. WA3, SW1, CV20)

  • £400 pa per extra 3/4 digit postcode area

  • Costs will not increase by more than 5% above RPI in any single year

 Expected Launch Date for 2006 Franchisees: August 2006
